43% ABV Blossom Harmony release blends Suntory’s Hibiki whisky with whisky that has been finished in barrels made from sakura trees.

According to the press statement about this limited release, this is the first Hibiki whisky to be aged in sakura barrels. Each Blossom Harmony bottle comes packaged in a gift box, decorated with a modern cherry blossom design.

The Limited Edition Range

Since 2014 the Yamazaki distillery has released annual limited edition single malts. The bottlings have grown increasingly popular, even though the distillery always releases the smallest amount of information on the bottles, keeping the whole project shrouded in mystery and exclusivity.

Between 2014 and 2017, the Yamazaki Limited Edition bottlings were some of the most sought after annual Japanese whisky releases on the market. Limited in numbers and containing some precious, aged Yamazaki liquid inside, they delivered in quality, appearance and collectibility.

After a four year hiatus, Suntory's reintroduction of the Yamazaki Limited Edition brand couldn't come at a better time.
